Patient Safety on EveryClinic

Your safety and confidence in the clinics you book through EveryClinic matters to us. Here’s how we work to make sure every clinic on the marketplace meets our standards, and what protections are in place for you as a patient.

How Clinics Are Vetted

Every clinic must pass a verification review before it can appear on the marketplace or accept bookings.

  • Clinics submit a “List Your Clinic” application, including business details and identity/accreditation documents for the named manager or owner.
  • Our team manually reviews these documents — including proof of business registration, proof of identity, and proof of relevant clinical accreditation or licensing — before approving an application.
  • A clinic only gains access to manage bookings once this review is complete and approved. No clinic can list services or accept patients before that point.
  • If information looks incomplete or inconsistent, our team follows up with the clinic directly rather than approving on assumption.

This review is carried out by EveryClinic’s own team rather than an automated pass/fail check, so an application can always be sent back for more information if something needs clarifying.

Your Data and Booking Details

  • Your personal and appointment details are only shared with the clinic you book with, in order to fulfil your appointment.
  • Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, a regulated payment processor — EveryClinic does not store your card information.

Transparency Before You Book

  • Every service listing shows the clinic’s cancellation policy clearly, with the relevant time windows, before you’re asked to confirm payment.
  • You must actively confirm that you’ve read the cancellation policy before a booking can be completed.
  • Slot availability is checked directly with the clinic’s own system immediately before payment is taken, so you’re not charged for an appointment that’s no longer actually available.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • Clinic cancels your appointment: You always receive a full refund automatically — there is no scenario in which a clinic cancellation results in a partial or no refund to you.
  • Your slot turns out to be double-booked or unavailable: Payment is never taken until the slot has been reconfirmed directly with the clinic, so this shouldn’t result in a charge. If it ever does, contact support immediately with your booking reference.
  • You have a concern about care received at a clinic: Please raise this with the clinic directly in the first instance, and let EveryClinic support know so we can look into the clinic’s standing on the platform.
  • You suspect a clinic listing is fraudulent or misrepresenting itself: Report it to our support team right away — every report is reviewed against the clinic’s onboarding records.

Reviews

After a completed appointment, you can leave a review of the clinic. Reviews help other patients make informed choices and help us monitor clinic quality over time.
